FestiVaLeurE, what is it?
It is a free documentary film festival organized by Master Tourism students at the University of Le Havre Normandy since 2015. To set up this festival, the students work in partnership with the Culture and Co association, the cultural service of the University and the Le Havre library network Lire au Havre.
FestiVaLeurE, these are film debates but also and above all a short film competition.
On the program this year
4 film-debate evenings:
- opening evening – March 13 at 6:30 p.m.: screening of “Toujours Debout” and meetings with the co-director of the film and other guests at the Léopold Sédar Senghor media library,
- 2nd evening – March 20 at 6:30 p.m.: screening of “The Tiger’s Eye” and meetings with Thierry Bertin, guide for visually impaired athletes at Cinéma Le Studio,
- 3rd evening – March 27 at 6:30 p.m.: screening of “Adaptés” and meeting with the director at the Student House,
- 4th evening – April 3 at 6:30 p.m.: screening of “My life is a challenge” and meeting with a paratriathlete at the Fabrique Atrium.
On Wednesday April 10 at 6:30 p.m., also find the short film competition as well as a screening and a festival prize ceremony at the Student House.
Three prizes will be awarded during this evening to elect the best short film: the Christian Affagard prize (jury votes), the Daniel Fleury prize (public votes) but also the short film prize (jury and jury votes). audience).
