What do you do on the TJV ?

I work as a volunteer for the Le Havre-based events agency DP Event, and as a general steward for the Transat Jacques Vabre. My mission is to act as an intermediary between the exhibitors in the village and the organizers: I collect the exhibitors' complaints and am responsible for passing them on to the appropriate people to resolve them. 
I chose this mission because it allows me to see a large part of the behind-the-scenes world of the event: it is a central position, which makes the link between the different fields of expertise. For the moment, it confirms my interest in the event industry.

What course of study are you following ? Why did you choose this training ?

I am currently studying for a BTS in Communication at the Saint-Jo Sup school. I chose to join a BTS for its professionalizing side and the possibility of doing internships or participating in events like this one. It is an important asset for entering the working world.

What do you think of Le Havre ?

I'm originally from Le Havre, and I couldn't see myself going anywhere else. Here, I have my family and friends, but also the sea, which I would find hard to do without. Le Havre also has the advantage of being a dynamic city, which allows access to large-scale events, such as the Transat Jacques Vabre.
